Oral Cancer Diagnosis:
CDX Brush - This is the first and only computerized brush
biopsy system. It allows the dentist to quickly, painlessly,
and reliably detect oral cancer in its earliest, most treatable
stage. This breakthrough in oral cancer detection will allow
the dentist to improve the prognosis of a disease that has remained
unchanged for the last 50 years.
ViZiLite® Plus-The newest tool in the fight against oral
disease is the ViziLite® Plus oral lesion identification
and marking system. Early detection of abnormal tissue is the
key to combating oral cancer effectively. Approximately 70%
of the time with usual detection methods, oral cancer is not
visible until it reaches an advanced stage. The ViziLite®
Plus technology allows us to detect abnormal tissue at a much
earlier stage.

Digital X-rays:
Digital x-rays expose the patient to approximately 75% -
90% less radiation than traditional x-rays. This state of the
art technology uses digital sensors which are connected to the
computer via a USB port. The images are instantly downloaded
providing us with clear, accurate x-rays. These x-rays remain
archived in the patient's chart from visit to visit.

This tool allows us to photograph the inside of the patient's
mouth. We are then able to show patients their exact oral health
needs. These photographs are displayed on the computer monitor
and are archived in the patient's record.

Versawave™ Hard and Soft Tissue Erbium Yag Laser:
Clinical studies show that over 75% of all patients, both
adult and children, require no anesthesia when the dental laser
was used to treat decay. This allows multiple parts of your
mouth (quadrants) to be worked on in one sitting instead of
having to return for extra visits. In addition, the gum can
also be contoured with this laser. It is used also for gum surgery,
biopsies, and to shortening the healing time.
